Scottish Cider Pub of the Year Presented at Albert Tavern

Saturday 27 June 2026

Saturday 20 June saw CAMRA members from across Scotland gather at the Albert Tavern in Freuchie to celebrate as the pub officially received the Scottish Cider Pub of the Year 2026 award.

The presentation recognised the Albert Tavern's outstanding commitment to promoting and serving quality real cider and perry while maintaining the warm welcome and community atmosphere for which the pub has become renowned. Having already secured the Kingdom of Fife CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year title earlier this year, the national award is a fitting recognition of the team's continued dedication.

Visitors travelled from across Scotland to join local supporters and Kingdom of Fife CAMRA members for the presentation, enjoying an afternoon of excellent cider, real ale and good company in one of Scotland's finest community pubs.

The award has also attracted national recognition, with a motion lodged in the Scottish Parliament congratulating the Albert Tavern on its achievement and recognising the important role it plays within the local community.

Kingdom of Fife CAMRA congratulates everyone at the Albert Tavern on this well-deserved achievement. The award reflects not only the quality of the cider available but also the passion, hospitality and community spirit that make the pub such a popular destination for both local customers and visitors alike.

We wish the Albert Tavern every success as it proudly holds the title of Scottish Cider Pub of the Year 2026.
