Established in 1870, this historic pub boasts a vibrant ambiance, featuring live music and quizzes. It proudly serves Belgian cuisine alongside a diverse selection of real ales and Belgian beers. Housed in a former ship chandler's establishment, the building has a regionally significant interior, notably retaining a rare Jug bar. Tucked behind the pub lies the dormant Fyfe brewery, housed in the old sailmaker's workshop, due for revival under new ownership. Please note, the pub is currently undergoing refurbishment and is only open on Fridays, with an expected completion date and normal opening in April.
